The Ferrari 458 GTE took part in its final international race today, the European Le Mans Series Four Hours of Monza. Fittingly, JMW Motorsport put the car on the top spot of the GTE podium, giving the team, and that same chassis, the honor of claiming the type’s first win in 2011 and its last in 2017. JMW will move on to the Ferrari 488 GTE, starting at the 2017 24 Hours of Le Mans.

While the 458 GTE will be better remembered for its various collisions with Prototypes, I believe, it should be remembered for its sound.
